About

This training is designed to provide attendees with increased knowledge or the requirements in Arizona for Supervised Private Practice (SPP), an associate owned practice. Arizona rules and regulations for the SPP, Supervisor, and Supervisee will be reviewed as well as general requirements for licensure, practical tips and best practices. (This training is designed to meet the requirement for SPP Supervisors. This training does not meet the CE requirement for SPP owners to be approved after 1/1/2026, that training is SPP Business Operations & Regulations: Designed for Supervised Private Practice Owners/Supervisees.) Objectives • Be able to identify the differences between Supervised Private Practice and other practice settings for Owners and Supervisors. • Gain an understanding of the process for Supervised Private Practice approval. • Develop an understanding of the AzBBHE requirements for Supervised Private Practice. • Gain an understanding of the documentation required for Supervised Private Practice. • Discuss challenges, concerns, and benefits associated with Supervised Private Practice. *Before beginning the program, please ensure that you have completed your CBPI account profile including your first and last name as you would like it to appear on your CE certificate (please note this requires completing all sections of the profile, not just your "display name.")
