Those owning, operating, and/or supervising a Supervised Private Practice must ensure the specific SPP requirements are met!

Arizona statutes allow for an associate licensed clinician to own and operate a private practice as long as the practice and supervisor meet specific requirements and are pre approved by the AzBBHE.  These trainings are designed to provide participants with up to date and accurate information regarding SPP requirements as well as best practice tips. 

 

As of 1/2026 new SPP owners and supervisors are required to complete trainings before an SPP can be approved and these trainings are designed to meet those requirements! 

  • SPP Supervisors are encouraged to take the Ins & Outs of SPP Requirements & Rules Training. 

​

  • SPP Owners/Supervisees are encouraged to take the SPP Business Operations Training which reviews not only the requirements and rules but also ethical and practical tips re business operations.

​

CBPI is a NBCC approved continuing education provider and  certificates will be provided by CBPI following completion of the training.  NBCC credits are accepted by the AzBBHE and several other regulatory boards.​

Trainings cancelled more than 48 hours in advance with result in a credit for the amount paid which can be used towards a future training within the next six months.  Trainings cancelled less than 48 hours in advance will result in the full charge.

​

Consultations not cancelled at least 24 business hours in advance will result in the full charge/deduction from consultation retainer if applicable.
