About

Patricia’s education and professional background spans the fields of law, behavioral health, and academia. She worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Illinois and has practiced as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in various settings.  Patricia has held Clinical Supervisor, Director, and Vice President positions providing support and leadership to behavioral health teams.


Patricia is passionate about supporting others and upholding the integrity of the behavioral health field.  She has served as a member of the Arizona Network for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition, she has served on the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a Professional Member and as Chairperson. Patricia owns the Clinical Best Practice Institute dedicated to supporting therapists, supervisors, and businesses through trainings, supervision, and consultation.  Clinical Best Practice Institute partners with Collaborative Counseling Institute to provide quality services to clients, as well as support and networking opportunities to professionals.

​Clinical Best Practice Institute, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7639. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Clinical Best Practice Institute, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Trainings cancelled more than 48 hours in advance with result in a credit for the amount paid which can be used towards a future training within the next six months.  Trainings cancelled less than 48 hours in advance will result in the full charge.

Consultations not cancelled at least 24 business hours in advance will result in the full charge/deduction from consultation retainer if applicable.
