About

This training is designed to help clinicians assess and treat neurodiverse brains in family therapy. The understanding of neurodivergence is growing rapidly and more clinicians are being faced with having a limited scope of competence in this area. This training goal will be to prepare clinicians to assess and treat families using blended models to support the different brain needs of family members and help clinicians feel more competent. Come prepared to interact and experience the life of a neurodivergent person. Objectives: • Understand the impact of attachment on ND family • Learn to conduct ND affirming assessments for family therapy • Explore ND affirming interventions and strategies • Explore ND social interventions This training is also available as part of a bundle: Understanding Different Neurodivergent Brains and Treating Neurodivergent Clients in Family Therapy trainings (4 NBCC Credits total) for $75.
