This training is designed to help clinicians develop a foundational understanding of the concepts associated with neurodivergence. Casey will provide you with education and an overall understanding about what it means to be "neurodivergent" and some of the associated labels. The understanding of neurodivergence is growing rapidly and more clinicians are being faced with having a limited scope of competence in this area. Come prepared experience the life of a neurodivergent person. Objectives: • Understand the significance of language and terminology associated with neurodivergence and its impact on treatment. • Explore diverse neurodivergent types. • Gain general knowledge of cultural factors affecting neurodivergent clients. This training is also available as part of a bundle: Neurodiversity On-Demand Training Bundle which includes Understanding Different Neurodivergent Brains and Treating Neurodivergent Clients in Family Therapy trainings (4 NBCC Credits total) for $75.
