Service Description
Providing therapy to a system (couple/family) poses unique ethical and clinical challenges. Attendees will discuss common challenges that arise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating couples and families and effective strategies for addressing or avoiding such situations. Participants will: •Gain knowledge and understanding of ethical considerations related to couple and family therapy. •Identify important elements of clinical documentation associated with couple and family therapy. •Identify and become familiar with skills for assessing and intervening in couple and family therapy. •Learn strategies for integrating effectively into family and couples systems and building rapport effectively with all system members. •Learn strategies for identifying historical patterns which influence present day systemic challenges and identify possible intervention points. •Be able to identify common clinical challenges and verbalize effective interventions for each challenge. Clinical Best Practice Institute, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7639. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Clinical Best Practice Institute, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Cancellation Policy
Trainings cancelled more than 48 hours in advance with result in a credit for the amount paid which can be used towards a future training within the next six months. Trainings cancelled less than 48 hours in advance will result in the full charge. Consultations not cancelled at least 24 business hours in advance will result in the full charge/deduction from consultation retainer if applicable. Consultation groups are booked as a bundle with the total for all group session due at the time of enrollment and are non refundable. The option for group sessions to be recorded and made available to attendees who may miss a session will be an option but not guaranteed as it will require unanimous consent for recording from all enrolled group members.
