Collaborative Treatment Planning Asynchronous Training (1.5 NBCC Credits)

  • 8 Steps
Get a certificate by completing the program.

About

This asynchronous training offers clinicians a practical, collaborative framework for developing and using treatment plans which will enhance client engagement, accountability, and motivation in treatment. Participants will learn how to co-create plans that evolve throughout treatment and view treatment plans as dynamic documents which can serve as a tool for progress tracking, role clarification, and systemic goal alignment. The training emphasizes moving from problem-focused to strength- and solution-focused language, ensuring treatment planning becomes a meaningful and therapeutic process rather than just another paperwork requirement. This training will focus on the following domains and objectives: 1. Construct treatment plans that reflect client strengths, systemic context, and collaboratively identified goals. 2. Identify therapeutic interventions in which treatment plans can be updated throughout the therapy process to measure progress and support client accountability. 3. Apply strategies to increase client engagement and ownership in developing, reviewing, and updating treatment plans from intake through termination. *Before beginning the program, please ensure that you have completed your CBPI account profile including your first and last name as you would like it to appear on your CE certificate (please note this requires completing all sections of the profile, not just your "display name.")
