About

This training is designed to provide attendees with increased knowledge or the requirements in Arizona for Supervised Private Practice (SPP), an associate owned practice. Arizona rules and regulations for the SPP, Supervisor, and Supervisee will be reviewed as well as general requirements for licensure, practical tips and best practices for behavioral health business operations. Objectives • Be able to identify the differences between Supervised Private Practice and other practice settings. • Gain an understanding of the process for Supervised Private Practice approval and behavioral health business start-up. • Develop an understanding of the AzBBHE requirements for Supervised Private Practice. • Gain an understanding of the documentation required for Supervised Private Practice. • Review ethical considerations, challenges, concerns, and benefits associated with Supervised Private Practice and behavioral health business ownership. • Provide resources to support the launch and growth behavioral health businesses. *Before beginning the program, please ensure that you have completed your CBPI account profile including your first and last name as you would like it to appear on your CE certificate (please note this requires completing all sections of the profile, not just your "display name.")
