AzBBHE Approved 6 Hour Clinical Supervisor Training (6 NBCC Credits)

This training has been approved by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AzBBHE) to meet the six hour clinical supervisor renewal requirements prescribed in R4-6-212 and R4-6- 214 https://bbhe.az.gov/clinical-supervision/approved-clinical-supervisor-training After the training, participants will be able to: ● Define clinical supervision and identify roles of a clinical supervisor. ● Articulate best practices and ethical considerations as they relate to clinical supervision, including telehealth services and remote supervision. ● Identify and locate relevant and up to date Arizona rules and statutes governing clinical supervision for licensure and application to various practice settings including Supervised Private Practice, State Licensed Agencies, and Private Practices. ● Utilize skills needed for providing oversight, evaluation, and guidance to supervisees who diagnose, assess, create treatment plans, and provide therapy services to clients. ● Identify approaches to addressing challenges in clinical supervision. ● Articulate various models and formats for providing clinical supervision. ● Identify appropriate means for documenting clinical supervision and the BBHE requirements for clinical supervision documentation. ● Identify the importance of self care as a Supervisor and ways to attend to self as Supervisor. *Before beginning the program, please ensure that you have completed your CBPI account profile including your first and last name as you would like it to appear on your CE certificate (please note this requires completing all sections of the profile, not just your "display name.")
