About

Course Description and Objectives: This training is designed to assist attendees in gaining knowledge of the rules, regulations, ethical considerations, and licensure process for those working towards independent licensure in Arizona. Participants will: • Gain understanding of the various practice settings for licensed associates and Arizona regulations for acquiring work experience and supervision for independent licensure. • Become familiar with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners’ purpose and processes. • Learn about scope of practice regulations and considerations. • Gain knowledge about common ethical dilemmas and ethical decision-making processes. • Develop an understanding of regulations and best practices associated with clinical supervision. • Identify approaches to addressing challenges in clinical supervision. • Gain information regarding the supervision process and Developmental Model of supervision. • Identify requirements and appropriate means for documenting clinical supervision. Consultations not cancelled at least 24 business hours in advance will result in the full charge/deduction from consultation retainer if applicable.
