This training is designed to help behavioral health clinicians and affiliated professionals better understand HIPAA and the related ethical and legal considerations. Objectives Include: • Gain an understanding of the basic tenants of HIPAA. • Learn the legal and clinical implications of Part 2. • Develop knowledge regarding best practices when a request for records or subpoena to testify is received. Clinical Best Practice Institute, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7639. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Clinical Best Practice Institute, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Cancellation Policy
Trainings cancelled more than 48 hours in advance with result in a credit for the amount paid which can be used towards a future training within the next six months. Trainings cancelled less than 48 hours in advance will result in the full charge. Consultations not cancelled at least 24 business hours in advance will result in the full charge/deduction from consultation retainer if applicable. Consultation groups are booked as a bundle with the total for all group session due at the time of enrollment and are non refundable. The option for group sessions to be recorded and made available to attendees who may miss a session will be an option but not guaranteed as it will require unanimous consent for recording from all enrolled group members.
