An opportunity for networking, continuing education, and farm tour at Hope Bandits Farm in Phoenix (The 51 & Bell...directions to be provided). (Light snacks provided by The Meadows before/after CE presentation) Healing Partnerships: How Equine Assisted Services Rewire the Brain In this training, you will learn more about the ethical implications of partnering with animals in a clinical setting, focusing on principle-based solutions that inform physical and emotional safety for humans and animals. You will hear about the similarities and differences between the human trauma response and equine brain development, and how connected relationships with animals can help to create new neural-pathways for healing. You will receive an overview of how connected and safe relationships with animals promote wellness, teach safe and healthy attachment, increase compassion, teach empathy, and encourage self-compassion. Objectives Gain knowledge of the ethical and clinical principles associated with providing equine assisted therapy. Develop an understanding for how equine assisted services can address presenting concerns related to trauma, attachment, and relationships. Learn how to identify clients who may benefit from equine assisted services. Facilitator: Annie Gipson, LCSW Owner of Hope Bandits Annie is a down to earth, client centered clinician that brings creativity and humor to her practice. She has been partnering with animals in a clinical setting for almost a decade, whether it’s a dog in the office or an equine friend out in the arena. Annie knows firsthand the healing power of connected animal relationships, and named her company after the childhood dog that taught her the meaning of healthy and safe attachment. She has received training through EAGALA and recently completed her level two training with Natural Lifemanship in the pursuit of certification.

If you are unable to attend a training you registered for, please contact info@clinicalbestpracticeinstitute at least 24 hours in advance and a credit for the amount paid will be issued and can be used for another training or consultative service within the next 6 months.
