Service Description

This brief but advanced live webinar with guest facilitator, Jade Rice, LMFT, is designed for clinicians seeking to deepen their application of Solution Focused and Structural Therapy approaches. Participants will explore how to integrate these models to increase client/system engagement in the therapeutic process while challenging unhelpful interactional patterns which hinder progress. Participants will be encouraged to explore their definition of a system and who may be included in the system when conceptualizing clinical strengths, areas of growth, and intervention points. Participants will gain tools to navigate between micro- and macro-level interventions, identifying opportunities for systemic restructuring while maintaining a collaborative, future-oriented stance. Learning Objectives:
By the end of this training, participants will be able to: 1. Identify at least three points of integration between Solution Focused and Structural Therapy models. 2. Demonstrate the ability to apply at least two creative interventions that combine both models in clinical practice. 3. Reframe case conceptualizations to include broader definitions of “the system,” including nontraditional and contextual influences on client functioning. Clinical Best Practice Institute, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7639. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified.
