Guest Facilitators: Casey Heinsch, LMFT & Dr. Kate Bree 9/13 9:00-1:00 (3 CEs & Networking Lunch)
Service Description
In Person Training and Networking Opportunity: This training is designed to help clinicians recognize when a neuropsychological evaluation is a good idea, particularly with neurodivergent labels. They will guide you through the evaluation process, its benefits for therapy, and how to use the insights to enhance your approach. The goal? To help you support families and children with a diverse range of brain-based needs, all while having a little fun along the way. Objectives: 1. Spot the signs, symptoms and behaviors that suggest the need for an evaluation. 2. Understand the evaluation process and procedures. 3. See a variety of tests in action and learn their administration (think of this as a backstage pass to the world of neuropsychology). 4. Decode assessment domains and scores within the context of behavior-no crystal ball needed anymore! 5. Discover how to use neuropsychological data to fine-tune your treatment plans and therapeutic strategies to attend to diverse brain-based needs.
