Creatively Relational Applications: CBT

Service Description

When treating children that have experienced some type of trauma, it is important to treat the child in the context of the family system. However, it can sometimes seem like a challenge to support a child in working through trauma treatment with family members, especially if the trauma occurred by/with the family members that are involved in treatment. This training will focus on the Trauma Focused- CBT Stabilization Phase of treatment (Psychoeducation, Relaxation, Affect Identification and Regulation, Cognitive Coping). Participants will explore ways in which Bowenian Family Therapy concepts can be blended and utilized harmoniously within the TF-CBT Stabilization phase to provide the child, and participating family members, with system wide growth and progress.

Consultation Services and Training Registrations cancelled less than 12 hours in advance will result in the full charge. If you are unable to attend a training you registered for, please contact info@clinicalbestpracticeinstitute at least 12 hours in advance and a credit for the amount paid will be issued and can be used for another training or consultative service within the next 6 months.
